Each class runs as a two round hunter derby with numerical scoring. The handy round is held on the outside course with natural obstacles. Derbies are not restricted as far as horse or rider status. Cross-entry between the Sapling and Pines Derby is permitted with the same or different horse/rider combination. However, a horse may compete in only one height section of either derby.
Prizes
Prizes typically range from Equestrian Centre and Smartpak gift certificates, Pessoa bridles, Ace Equestrian gift cards, InStride Equine Bodywork Massage Gift cards, Reins tack shop gift cards for Samshield products, Westerly Digital Custom Horse Silhouettes and custom stickers and so much more. Prizes are awarded through third place
